This is a specialized replacement tip for sonic scaling handpieces. Unlike the Universal tip, the Perio tip features a slimmer, longer, and more tapered design. This geometry allows the clinician to access deep periodontal pockets and subgingival areas to remove calculus and biofilm from root surfaces.
