The Earloop Mask is designed for simple and low-risk procedures that involve moisture from sprays, splatters, and light dust. It is a cost-effective option that consists of an inner and outer layer with soft, stretchy, latex-free earloops that are sealed using ultrasound. These earloops ensure your comfort while wearing the mask.
To ensure a close fit to your face and prevent tearing when unfolded, the masks come with a sewn-in elastic band.
The masks have been tested for resistance to synthetic blood penetration, and they meet the minimum pressure requirement in mm Hg for passing the test.
Here are the ASTM Level 1 characteristics of the mask:
- Bacterial filtration efficiency: Equal to or greater than 95%
- Filtration efficiency for sub-micron particles at 0.1 micron: Equal to or greater than 95%
- Differential pressure (breathability): Less than 4.0 mm H20/cm2
