Filtek Universal Restorative
The Filtek Universal Restorative is a visible-light activated restorative composite optimized to create esthetic anterior and posterior restorations. It has the following features and benefits:
- 8 specially designed shades (A1, A2, A3, A3.5, A4, B1, B2, D3) plus an extra white (XW) that cover all 19 VITA shades.
- All shades are radiopaque that facilitate the detection and diagnosis of secondary caries.
- Universal body like opacity that enables up to a 2 mm depth-of-cure that ensures a complete and stable polymerization.
- A new pink opaquer (PO) that is used to mask stained tooth structure, metal, and amalgam, can be placed in 1 mm increments.
- Capsules may be warmed up to 70 C/158 F, up to 1 hour that allow for easy extrusion and placement.
The Filtek Universal Restorative is suitable for various indications:
- Direct anterior and posterior restorations (including occlusal surfaces)
- Core build-ups
- Splinting
- Indirect restorations including inlays, onlays and veneers
