This swivel coupler is an essential adapter for StarDental fiber optic handpieces. It connects to standard 6-pin fiber optic tubing (which provides air, water, and electricity). The coupler contains a replaceable bulb (or LED) that shines light into the fiber optic rod of the handpiece.
The 6-pin configuration ensures it draws electrical power directly from the dental unit's supply to power the light source within the coupler itself. The swivel action allows the handpiece to rotate freely, reducing wrist strain for the dentist.
